We received the
first set of testing back from Endyne. It takes more than a week for
them to mail us the results. We learned that the water from the
Little Ausable River had e-col, but the water from our filters was e
coli free! The filtered water did still show the presence of
coliform. The test results were disappointing as very little
information was provided. We do not know the level of coliform so we
can not see if the filters reduced any. The exciting bit was
learning we did eliminate e coli. Various people have told us that
the sand filters would NOT eliminate e coli.
